Our new term of classes in traditional Irish music for adult and children (aged 5+) in Banjo, Bodhrán, Concertina, Button Accordion, Fiddle, Mandolin, Guitar, Tin Whistle, Flute and Irish/English Singing is starting in January, 2026 for 12 weeks. The lessons of 30 minutes duration take place in Donabate Portrane Educate Together National School between 5:30pm and 9pm. There are no classes during normal school holidays.
The fee for the term of 12 classes is €115, with the fourth class for members of the same family free of charge. Students must also pay an annual family Comhaltas membership of €20.
A limited number of loan instruments is available at a rental fee of €20 and a refundable deposit of €20 for fiddles and €50 for button accordions, banjos and flutes.
